Meet your therapists
It’s time to invest in yourself.
We are Connecticut-based therapists specializing in anxiety, stress & relationships.
At the core of our approach to therapy is a belief that change happens in relationship to others.
Rooted in Norse and Celtic tradition, the Rowan tree has long been revered as a symbol of protection, resilience, and renewal. Its bright red berries were believed to guard against evil spirits and misfortune, and in Norse mythology the Rowan was known as the “savior tree,” said to have helped Thor cross dangerous waters. These stories reflect the enduring belief that strength and safety can exist even in the midst of challenge. At The Rowan Center for Wellness, this symbolism mirrors the counseling process: a supportive refuge where individuals can confront hardship, heal old wounds, and cultivate inner resilience. Like the Rowan tree weathering storms, therapy offers a space to restore balance, reclaim personal power, and grow toward meaningful change.
